PDSA is the UK's leading veterinary charity, caring for more than 350,000 pet patients belonging to people in need. We provide free veterinary treatment to sick and injured animals and we promote responsible pet ownership.
In 2008 PDSA celebrates 91 years of caring for the sick and injured animals of people in need. We are proud of our heritage, our achievements and our values. For it is these that have made PDSA what it is today; the UK's leading veterinary charity. But we cannot afford to stand still as the need for our veterinary care is as great as ever. As is PDSA’s determination to expand our PetAid services. PDSA is the largest private employer of fully qualified veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses in Europe. Have a look at our case studies section to see some of the amazing work undertaken by these skilled and dedicated individuals.
Maria Dickin CBE, an animal welfare pioneer, founded PDSA in 1917. PDSA is non-campaigning, and non-political. |
